My sister found this fun tea cosy pattern on Etsy. I had only been knitting a few months at this stage, and she sent me the link as something to try knitting. I decided to knit it for her birthday as she loves cats and tea. This was my first time trying stripes. I wasn’t aware that you just keep both colours attached the whole time, and have a straight thread running up the side. So I was cutting each one off for every stripe. You live and learn, eh. Anyway, for someone with little experience I managed to follow this pattern well, and was happy with the finished result.  A great, fun little pattern to make.
