I knitted this as a Christmas present for my friend Gráinne. She always wears her hair up in pretty styles and had mentioned that she’d love a hat that didn’t squash her hair. So I searched slouchy hats on Etsy and I found this lovely pattern.

It’s knit in the round on a circular needle. If I was to knit it again I’d cast on less stitches than the pattern says to as it turned out quite a bit bigger than I was expecting.
