This jumper took me absolutely ages to knit! I started it in the Spring in the hope that it would be ready for the summer. I was being far too ambitious. The yarn and needles are so thin and the pattern so complicated that it didn’t grow very quickly at all. When it got to the autumn and it was still not finished I decided to put it aside whilst I knitted some things for the winter. When I came back to it the following spring, I found that I had some new energy to finish it.

I’m delighted with how it turned out. My tension with the different colours improved as I went along. The yarn is lovely and soft.

It has been nice to knit things with thicker yarn since this but I’d be happy to go back and try another intricate 4ply design now.
