This book of patterns by Sirdar is fantastic. There are so many that I would knit out of it. It’s great that they include small variations on the garments that make quite big differences in the finished look – different neck lines, sleeve lengths etc.

This cardigan was quite a quick and easy knit but the pattern was quite interesting. The Ella yarn that I used is a great yarn. It wears and washes well. I love the sparkles that run through the yarn.

I got both the book and the yarn at the Knitting and Stitching show in Edinburgh.
